Conan, Amra, Shulo, Tindaga, Maketa.
Conan, accompanied by some of his crew, members of the Watambi tribe, and Tindaga of the Dragon Riders continues the hunt for Belit. The pirate queen is in the clutches of Amra, who seems to have a rapport with a black lion. When Belit refuses Amra's advances, he knocks her out and takes her to his camp, where he tells her his story. Amra takes Belit to his home - the Lair of the Lions, a ruined city full of treasure and guarded by lions. There Amra's current paramour, Makeda, attacks Belit in jealousy, and is thrown out by Amra. Makeda is found by Conan, who demands she take him to Belit.
