21. Fantomet, Sala Palmer-Walker, President Lamanda Luaga, Heloise, Kit, Rex King, Oberst Worubu, Mrs. Chang, Eboli, Golanas ambassadør, General Kon. Arriving at her U.N. Bangalla office, Sala is met by a weak and desperate man detailing excessive human rights violations taking place in his home country. Before the man dies, he produces a document detailing the violations at the hands of the country’s dictatorial ruler General Kon. Sala is subsequently contacted by Ughland’s Bangalla ambassador, who offers her a bribe to keep quiet. When that fails, the Ughland operatives resort to more hands-on measures, resulting in Sala’s husband finding her bombed-out car wreck on the Phantom Trail.
