An American affiliate to the international crime organisation Singh Brotherhood is attempting to steal a valuable shipment of ambergris from the young explorer and adventuress Diana Palmer when a mysterious masked man intervenes. This dramatic encounter provides the backdrop for a long and intensive battle in a Singh lair at the bottom of the sea and at the Singh Brotherhood headquarters on Mt. Trepnich, where The Phantom's wits and strength are pitted against the mighty Kabai Singh and his formidable organisation.
