21. Fantomet, Sala Palmer (Diana), Byron, Jenkins, Tukanligaen [Tukanen, Rook, Jess, Jagg, Sniff], Jim, Susie. Having averted the Japanese threat to Bengali, The Phantom is on his way to see Diana when he learns that a welcoming committee is waiting for him. He jumps off the plane in a parachute to escape his admirers, only to find himself in the middle of a hunt for five escaped convicts. Starting a long and relentless pursuit of the ringleader Bent Beak Broder and his four fellow-convicts, The Phantom has to use all his ingenuity and ability to terrorise his prey to apprehend the trigger-happy murderers and rescue their hostage.
