Back at the U.N. in New York after her marriage to the Phantom, Diana complains of men following her and watching her house. After telling the Phantom about her harrowing experiences via short-wave radio, she falls victim to yet another daring attack and is smuggled out of the country. When Diana comes to, she is staring straight into the face of General Tara, the man whose cruel human rights abuses she recently unveiled to the world and whose humiliating punishment at the hands of the Phantom has enraged him enough to seek bloody revenge.
