Black Cat, Kingpin, Dr. Octopus, The Owl, Octopus Gang, Owl Gang, Mary Jane Watson, Dagger; Gwen Stacy, Debra Whitman. Spider-Man is thrilled to discover that the Black Cat is still alive and the two begin to foster a romantic relationship. Felicia has stolen a mysterious canister from Doc Octopus and the villain crashes in on the lovers to steal it back, taking the Cat along as a bonus. Spider-Man has to turn to the Kingpin for help (he also learns that the canister is an activator for a neutron bomb that Ock plans to use to destroy the city), Spidey gets involved in the power struggle between Doc Ock and the Owl who are both vying for the privilege of setting off the neutron bomb. Ock is victorious and the Owl is badly wounded. When Octopus hurts the Black Cat as well, Spidey finally has had enough of the villain and rips his mechanical arms off.
