Spider-Man [Peter Parker], Rupert M. Dockery, Madame Web, Debbie Whitman, K. J. Clayton, J. Jonah Jameson, Barney Bushkin, April Maye, Belinda Bell.
Peter is surprised to learn that Debra is seeing a clairvoyant. She shows Peter the business card of the psychic, Madame Web. The Globe's publisher is K. J. Clayton. She now turn control of the newspaper over to Rupert Dockery. Dockery's five hoodlums break through the conference-room door. One hoodlum escapes with the woman. Spider-Man seek help from Madame Web. She urges Spider-Man to hurry, because unless he can locate Belinda Bell, an actress, both she and K. J. Clayton will die. Docherty is behind this. Belinda, tells Spider- Man that Dockery is about to do away with K. J. Clayton. Dockery confesses. Madame Web congratulates him on his success and tells him that she will protect his secret identity as Spider-Man.
