A protection racket has taken control of the lucrative trading businesses along Bengali's coast, including the wholesale warehouse from which Trader Joe buys supplies for his trading post. Those entrepreneurs refusing protection are put out of business permanently. Forced to charge double prices after a massive wholesale price hike, Trader Joe is saved by the Phantom when the local jungle population rebels. The latter then picks up the trail of the ruthless racketeers.
