Conan [Amra], Belit, M'Gora, N'Yaga the Shaman, Florannus, Devil-Crabs of the Dark Cliffs. The Tigress is at sea when a ship is spotted moored by the Dark Cliffs. The vessel is abandoned and carrying a treasure from the east. Belit organizes a search party into a nearby cavern. Deep inside the cliffs they find a colony of crab-men hauling the treasure chests past a prison containing several sailors from Argos. They have been experimented on by the creatures. Conan manages to break the sailors free but Belit refuses to leave without the treasure. Conan starts a rockslide to slow the creatures down, and both crews unite to push a giant boulder onto the ground, which breaks through to the boiling hot steam tunnels beneath the cliffs, roasting the Devil-Crabs. Both crews sail away.
