When Joe McLash leads the armies of Padja into Iraq he incurs the wrath of both the US and Russian governments. Når Clash leder Panjas styrker på 100 000 mann i et angrep på Irak vekker han samtidig USAs og Russlands vrede. Samtidig våkner de gamle arkonterne til live. Det er deres kraftmaskin som har gjort Clash til en gud. Supermaktene invaderer Panja for å stopper Clash, men han utraderer all motstand. Det er imidlertid arkonterne som har brukt Clash som et verktøy, og Nadja overtar makten i landet. Clash sendes i eksil.
