21. Fantomet, Sala Palmer, Mrs. Palmer, Robert Montgomery, Maharajaen av Barogar [Gar], Grev Bart, Kaptein Dudley, Prinsesse Karene, Shiva. The Phantom’s efforts to wed Diana are interrupted by an urgent request from Scotland Yard: The Maharajah of Barogar and his son, the young Rajah, have disappeared without a trace. Realising that this endangers the stability in the whole region, The Phantom rushes back to India to rescue his childhood friend and his father. It soon becomes apparent that the disappearances play a pivotal part in a political endgame that may decide the identity of the future ruler of India. The Phantom has to travel to the snow-capped ranges of the Himalayas.
