X-Men [Magneto, Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Shadowcat [Kitty Pryde], Rachel Summers [Phoenix]], The Beyonder, Sentinels, Nimrod [Sentinel].
A psychic image of Phoenix is telling the X-Men that Rachel Summers has decided to use her expanded powers to destroy the Beyonder because he is a threat to all existence. Magneto pinpoints Rachel's location: San Francisco and the X-Men begin to mobilize. Phoenix manages to pinpoint the location of the Beyonder and attacks him head-on at full power causing a massive Phoenix bird-shaped explosion.
He decides to teach her a lesson by transporting her to a vision of the future. He then shows her the death of everyone she loved. She’s given enhanced power and the option to save the X- Men from Omega Sentinels. After the threat has ended, she confronts the Beyonder again. She tells him that while he may mean well, all he manages to do is cause harm.
