21. Fantomet, Jungelpatruljen [oberst Weeks, Smythe], bandesjefen, Duke.
The ‘proper’ introduction of the Jungle Patrol sees a young, new and unwilling JP recruit searching the identity of the Supreme Commander, but he soon finds himself in the line of fire when he is ordered into the jungle to apprehend a gang of bootleg smugglers. On this occasion the Secret Commander is close at hand to follow proceedings, but is forced to intervene when a bad mistake by the new recruit seriously endangers the lives of his fellow patrolmen.
