Just when the Phantom thought he had heard the last of the beauteous witch-queen of distant Kula-Ku, a messenger from her court delivers a mysterious note to the Deep Woods in which the Phantom is invited to Kula-Ku to witness "a secret that will change the lives of you and yours". After giving a curious Diana a detailed résumé from the Phantom’s last encounter with the evil Queen, the Phantom rides off to once again confront the multiple dangers of the Queen’s realm.
