21. Fantomet, Sala Palmer-Walker, Hero, Ulv, Guran, Rex King, tvillingene [Heloise Kit], Gamle Moz, Fyrsten av Baronkhan, hertug Shambad, oberst Petra, major Conann, sersjant John, Baldy, prinsesse Alicia. Having recently assumed the throne in Baronkhan after his grandfather's demise, Prince Rex receives a visit from his neighbour, the wily Count Shambad. The latter has ruined his kingdom's finances and is desperate to obtain a hefty loan from the young ruler to stay afloat. When this is denied, the Count reverts to more hands-on methods to reach his objective, including demanding a public duel that Rex cannot refuse without losing face, and putting Rex' life in mortal danger on the Phantom's paradise island Eden.
