Freed from Gyrich's restrictive regulations, the Avengers are able to reorganize their roster. Even as Wonder Man is officially reinstated as a member, the Falcon decides to resign and departs. An unshaven man named Selbe, clad only in a jacket and a hospital gown, appears at the mansion door and collapses into the Wasp's arms. Officials arrive to return him to the Solomon Institute for the Criminally Insane, from which he has escaped, the heroes have no choice but to turn him over to them. The Wasp is missing, having followed Selbe and his warders back to the Institute. |
