Receiving news from President Luaga that a prisoner in Boomsbay has vital information, The Phantom makes a nightly visit and discovers that the informant's children plan to bribe their father out of prison. On hearing that the naive teenagers plan to steal the money from the prisoner's former accomplices during a dangerous heist, the Phantom rushes over to the States to catch a sought-after gang and prevent a tragedy.
