Axa and Matt next encounters another race of mutants, the Morpho, who hide their deformity beneath beautiful masks, and who are at loggerheads with their unmasked brethren, the Grots. She is romanced by their leader, Viktor, but shrinks away from him in disgust when he unmasks, and Viktor's people eventually leave Earth in the company of a formerly stranded alien. The alien planet will be their new home. |
