21. Fantomet, Sala Palmer, Hero, Ulv, Poison Ivy, Dyrenes Konge. Admiring Bengali's Royal Necklace Collection, Sala is the sole witness of a bird stealing the magnificent Black Pearl exhibit. The Phantom rushes to save her, but is himself imprisoned as an accomplice. However, a mysterious "King of Beasts" soon masterminds a spectacular escape for the couple. Unbeknown to everybody, "Poison" Ivy and his gangsters also have designs on the precious gem and lie in wait for Sala to claim their prize. They tail Sala and the Phantom, who in turn follow the remarkably clues to the "King of Beasts” and his menagerie.
