Storm, Forge, Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey [Phoenix], Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Kitty Pryde (all illusions), Shani, Minari.
Storm continues her long trek. She is visited by a vision of Forge. She finds cover from the sandstorm in a cave. In the cave she is visited by visions of her fellow X-Men. Storm is determined to keep moving and she finds an overturned bus. The only survivor of the vehicle is a lone pregnant woman. When Storm and her new friend Shani arrive at the village, Shani is worried how her family will react to the idea of her being pregnant. Storm helps Shani with the complicated birth and manages to save the child's life.
