Prince Ajiz of the Highlands is suddenly taken ill and rushed to Dr. Axel's jungle hospital, where he receives life-saving treatment and feels moved to donate a massive diamond he has in his possession towards the construction of a new children's hospital wing. Soon, an enraged Phantom receives the news that the diamond has been stolen and wastes no time in picking up a trail that gradually transforms from theft to cold-blooded murder.
