Lyn Gordon, Prins Barin, Hans Zarkov, Dale Arden, Den fremmede.
Flash, Dale and Zarkov are asked by prince Barin to travelto an automated man-made satellite to collect one year’s worth of scientific data. On reaching the satellite, the trio discovers that another spaceship has crashed on a nearby preserve planet and set off on a rescue mission, but on arrival the only trace of the pilot is an inexplicable straight line on the ground leading away from the craft and a mysterious cloud of whirling dust.
