Informasjon/Beskrivelse |
Andrian Trofimovich (former soldier who fought in the Soviet-Afghan war), Elektrik Feliks (a hacker / electronics expert), Nadejda Kosakhova (niece of the head of the KGB), Kozakhov (a harsh, ruthless political figure).
The setting is post-Soviet Union and there’s political chaos. Andrian comes back from the war in Afghanistan, disillusioned by the corruption in the Soviet system. He believes drastic action is needed. He intends to blow up the Kremlin during a parade on the anniversary of the Revolution. Before he can execute the explosion, he is approached by Elektrik Feliks (the hacker) and the digital underground. They have uncovered intelligence that Communist hard-liners are planning a coup. Andrian faces a dilemma: his plan is violent, but the things he's just learned suggest that merely blowing up the center of power might not stop worse things from happening. The issue ends setting up the stakes: political instability, the fight between reformers vs hard-liners, and the possibility of catastrophic fallout if the more destructive conspiracies are allowed.
