Spider-Man [Peter Parker], J. Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, Thomas, Human Torch [also as Blaze; Johnny Blaze], Jean DeWolff, Ed Koch, Ashley Cranford, Barry.
A group of bored college kids create a new non- existence super villain called Blaze to take on the web slinger. Dressing up in a Blaze costume, Ashley is filmed by Barry threatening Spider-Man, announcing that he knows the hero's secret identity. An impostor who calls himself Blaze challenges Spider-Man. Thomas is blasted by Blaze's flame gun. Thomas, is not really injured at all but was wearing makeup to make it look like he was horribly burned. "Blaze" is actually the Human Torch in disguise. Spider-Man wanted to teach the kids a lesson. That's when they put together the entire ruse to trick Ashley and Barry.
