Would-be Sith Savage Opress has located his long-lost brother, Darth Maul. Now the two of them have embarked on a killing spree, cutting a deadly swath through the Outer Rim planets. Determined to stop the brothers, the Jedi Council sends a task force of skilled Jedi to hunt them down. Obi-Wan, Plo Koon, and a younger master and expert in combat, Bruu Jun-Fan, as well as some other masters. Meanwhile, the Sith have landed on an icy mining moon, and leave their mark on the local gang in a cantina, leaving just one witness. The Jedi task force arrives and investigates the massacre site.
