21. Fantomet, Guran, Rex King, Tara Tagama, Tom-Tom, Old Moz, Goola-Goola-witch. The Phantom has to leave the Deep Woods for a few days, but not before he has to answer a host of questions from Tomm and Rex about witches. He refers the boys to their teacher or Guran for more information, but in the end it is the local storyteller Moz who is asked to elaborate on the subject. Old Man Moz spellbinds the boys with a tale about the cruel Gooley-Gooley Witch in the Misty Mountains who once longed for a mate after 1,000 years’ seclusion and decided that a reluctant Phantom was her perfect match.
