President Luaga of Bangalla is preparing his first visit to the Deep Woods since the twins' birth when his ordinary pilot Captain Logu is replaced at the last minute by a new security detail. When President Luaga does not turn up as agreed and nobody reports seeing the helicopter, the Phantom realizes that his friend has been abducted, and starts following a long and violent trail that leads all the way to the Misty Mountains and a meeting with an old arch enemy.
