Informasjon/Beskrivelse |
Conan, Kuchum, Li-Zya, Thulsa-Doom.
A motley crew of busy Barachan corsairs are taken by surprise by Khitan warriors. Khitans are a very uncommon sight in those waters. The treasure chest starts shaking before bursting open, revealing a very angry Cimmerian inside. Conan seeks vengeance on the pirates. The foreign leader, Kuchum, is disappointed not to find any treasures. Impressed by Conan's surprising fluency in his own language, Kuchum spares him for the moment. Aboard Kuchum's ship, he meets the leader’s daughter, Li-Zya. Conan is introduced to a talking skull. It is none other than Thulsa Doom, the Thurian Age wizard. Doom knows of a treasure, one found a vast distance away on another continent. Conan warns that Thulsa Doom is a trickster, but he also agrees to accompany the Khitan on his treasure quest. Later, Kuchum’s ship is pursued by Zingaran galleys. Against these overwhelming odds, Doom’s magic is required. The sea erupts as an enormous monster surfaces, and Li-Zya is caught in one of its tentacles. Conan jumps to save her and is himself seized by another one. The Cimmerian throws the skull straight between the threatening jaws, and the monster's head explodes.
