Senere utgitt i Conan album (Bladkompaniet / Schibsted, 1992 serien) #46 – kong Thoth- Amon (September 2003). Basert på Conan the Buccaneer av L. Sprague DeCamp og Lin Carter. In the throne room, the king abdicates in favour of... the high prince Thoth-Amon of Stygia. This comes as a complete surprise to duke Villagro. Ferdrugo takes off the cobra crown from a kneeling Thoth-Amon's head, to replace it with the crown of Zingara. Villagro bolts for the magical headpiece and dons it, immediately gaining great powers. Thoth-Amon and Villagro engage in a contest of raw power vs magical skill. Just then, Conan, his pirates and princess Chabela burst into the room. Conan claims that Thoth-Amon is a trickster and that the king is under a spell. The people present split about evenly in two camps, and a battle erupts. Thoth-Amon realizing that his plan has failed, telling the Zingaran pirate that they must depart. Conan tries to detain them, but a spell brings down a curtain on his head. Black Zarono will be back in the story "The treasure of Tranicos", soon to be adapted in SSoC #47-48.
