Anna Watson, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin [Roderick Kingsley], Lance Bannon, Mary Jane Watson, May Parker, Nathan Lubensky, Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant, Spider-Man [Peter Parker].
Peter is walking with Aunt May and Nathan Lubensky, when they are almost run down by bank robbers in a speeding car. One robber, Georgie, escapes down the sewer and stumbles on one of the Green Goblin's secret hideouts. Georgie sells the Goblin's old gear to a shadowy figure, who removes the equipment, torches the warehouse, and then blows up his van, killing Georgie who was still inside. The killer re-dyes and alters the Goblin costume, taking on the guise of the Hobgoblin.
