21. Fantomet, Sala Palme, Hero, Ulv, Guran, Bandarene, Wambesi-stammen [Høvding Wamba], Ulangi-stammen, Brutus, Gruff. On their way back from Ptjar, the Phantom and Sala stop to rest by the old Wambesi ruins, where an ancient dragon god is said to have ruled the tribe in the past. The Phantom has to investigate when reports come in from the jungle that the ancient god is alive once again and that Wambesi are on the warpath. As Wambesi loot and destroy the Ulangi village in the name of their god, the Phantom makes his way back to the ruins to be confronted with an impossible sight: a fire-breathing dragon in full command of its subjects.
