The Maharajah of Nimpore is kidnapped when his caravan is attacked by men loyal to the ruthless Rajah of Simbal, who is using the ‘disappearance’ to obtain the hand of Princess Lakani, the Maharaja’s daughter, and the vast wealth she will soon inherit. An unsuspecting Princess grants the Phantom three days in which to find her captured father and avert a bloodbath, but things become more complicated after a failed rescue attempt.
