Conan hunts the great red Khitan bear (for its' healing qualities) while being hunted by others. He kill hunters from the Ko- tribe and is cursed by Snow Raven, a princess from a nighbouring tribe. Later, he meet his old teacher, swordsmaster Sennan. He sold his soul to the dark lord Kuro, and must forever pay his debts to Akema, a henchman for the Dark Gods. The princess help Conan to find the place where the red bears go to die.
