According to radio reports, vampires are plaguing the small hamlet of Koqania in Europe, where the Phantom has one of his secret hideouts in an ancient castle ruin. At almost the same time a radio signal relayed to the Skull Cave warns that somebody has broken the entrance to the Phantom’s secret compartment. The Phantom travels to Europe to investigate, but is met by a wall of silence when he arrives. A visit to the old ruins reveals that somebody has used the secret rooms.
