King Kull, Brule.
King Kull is brooding over a battlefield after a great victory. But then hideous figures emerge from the ground : ghouls who dwell below, who come to devour the flesh and souls of the vanquished. Kull defends the dead with his great axe in a battle lasting all night. Dawn finally comes, and Kull's fight is won. His friend Brule arrives, surprised to still see him there, and points to the King's dagger lost the day before during the battle. The dagger served to kill the enemy king, and is still stuck in the man's tall body.
