Part 3 of "Born Again" storyline.
Daredevil [Matt Murdock] (origin), Sister Maggie Murdock (Daredevil's mother, a nun), Karen Page, Foggy Nelson, Glorianna O'Breen, Ben Urich, Kingpin, Turk, Grotto, Nick Manolis.
Matt is passed out in an alley with two other homeless people. Opening recaps Daredevil's origin from the point of view of the young Matt. Turk dressed as Santa knifes Matt in the gut and the wounded Matt is tended by Sister Maggie. The nun is his mother, who was thought dead. Ben Urich is warned off of investigating a story about Murdock and the Kingpin. Urich's fingers are broken and he's told to drop the story. Karen Page travels across the country with a criminal "fan" of her porn movies to escape the Kingpin's goons. The Kingpin sweats. He’s getting uncomfortable.
