The story follows the events of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #12. In Central Park a massive construct suddenly appears. Out leaps Spider-Man in a new black and white costume carrying Curt Connors. It then sinks in that they have finally made it home, Spider-Man rejoices. The pair are still coming to terms with their experience on Battleworld and the idea that a being like the Beyonder exists. Reed Richards recommended they keep their little war a secret. Spider- Man swings home to his apartment in Chelsea. Peter knows that Felicia has been hiding some kind of secret from him and learned from the Avengers and Fantastic Four that she had approached both groups seeking a means of obtaining superhuman powers. She is concerned that in her quest to get powers, she unwittingly got them from the Kingpin. |
