Flying home via the Gulf of Mexico after having bought an old plane at a private auction in Texas, the Phantom and Diana experience a fuel problem and are forced to land among a group of abandoned oil rigs. Having managed to make themselves comfortable for the night on one of the derelict rigs, the couple's relative tranquillity is disturbed when a ghostly voice announces a menacing presence.
