Fantastic Four [Mr. Fantastic [Reed Richards], Invisible Girl [Sue Storm Richards], Human Torch [Johnny Storm], The Thing [Ben Grimm]], Franklin Richards, Ego-Spawn, Lorrie Melton, Abe Jankovitz.
Reed and Sue discuss the re-emergence of Franklin's powers, Reed makes contact with an old colleague, Professor Abe Jankovitz, in the hope to learn more about the nature of Franklin’s abilities. Under stress the boy unleashes a brigtly coloured ball of psychic ectoplasm. The ball transforms a man named Franco into a super-powered being who appears more than a match for The Torch. Sue and Jankovitz try to shut down the feedback helmet without harming Franklin. Reed counters that Franklin's powers are to dangerous to risk exposing any more members of the public to them, and with that they take their leave.
