Conan, Arides (aristocrat), Borondo (merchant), lady Vasallia (Arides's wife), Tamara (priestess/warrior), O Khorus (stone demon).
City in eastern Argos. Koth is going to invade eastern part of Argos. The city magistrate gives Conan a mission after he is captured by the city guards. He is to escort a wagon of weapons to the port of Napolitos. Conan soon discovers a hidden treasure in the boxes of the wagon, the magistrate’s treasure. The wagon is attacked and the soldiers killed. Alone the way a merchant, an aristocat and his wife an aproestess (and warrior) of Mitra join Conan. Among them is a spy who the soldiers of the city is after. They end up in the ruins of a city where followers of Set is trying to waken a stone demon. Conan and Tamara fight and defeat the stone demon, O Khorus, who is brought to life by the be-jeweled Skull of Set.
