Fyrst Rupert is in danger: his uncle, the Archduke of Transmania, is scheming to take over. Rupert sends for Mikke Kus to help. Meanwhile, Pluto finds a “talking bone,” which has a hidden key in it. Mikke consults detective Ben Holmsen. They realize the bone/key combination is a clue. The Archduke and his henchmen try to thwart Rupert and Mikkes efforts. With Ben Holmsens help, Mikke uses the hidden key to lock up the Archduke and his henchmen, preventing the coup in Transmania. Fyst Rupert is saved.
