A masked giant and his dwarf helper rob traders in the narrow Kaluga Pass, thereby impoverishing the tribes who rely on cross-pass trade. The Phantom's attention, however, is not caught until the giant ventures outside his area and punishes the Oogan tribe for sending a war party. Despite reports that the giant kills lions with a single blow and can sustain bullet shots, the Phantom fearlessly rides into the Kaluga Pass to take on the giant in hand-to-hand combat and learn the fantastic truth behind his and his companion’s appearance.
