Informasjon/Beskrivelse |
Conan, Nhuzemdar, priestess Suva Marsa, Mitrus.
Conan encounter Corinthian soldiers. They bring him to the temple of Ashtoreth. The Cimmerian is introduced to Suva Marsa, a priestess of the goddess and leader of the temple’s defenders. Conan joins the local troops and helps in preparing for the coming siege. Thanks to his military expertise, the Cimmerian proves invaluable in setting traps for the incoming army of thieves. The thieves attack the temple and Suva Marsa is killed in action. The Cimmerian finally makes his way to Nhuzemdar himself and kills him. The huge, many-armed and elephant-headed statue of “Bel” springs to life. Conan slays the creature with an axe blow to the head. The Cimmerian then has a vision of last issue’s old woman, who turns out to be an avatar of the goddess Ashtoreth. The goddess explains that “Bel” was not Bel at all, but rather a many-armed Khitan god named Ghanizar. The idol had been stolen by Nhuzemdar
