Spider-Man, Cloak [1st- Origin, Tyrone Johnson], Dagger [1st- Origin, Tandy Bowen], Simon Marshall, Joey Tartaglione, Mack Stennet.
A criminal drug experimenter is being chased by two new costumed vigilantes: Cloak and Dagger. When they kill the drug dealer they leave Spider-Man behind to deal with the police. Searching for Cloak and Dagger as Spider-Man, Peter traces them to their hide-out. He can about Cloak and Dagger through his connections at the Bugle, however, they come up dry. Cloak and Dagger have gathered a number of people responsible for their condition. They reveal that they were young runaways that were injected with experimental drugs which activated their powers. When Spider-Man tries to stop them from killing the drug dealers in cold blood, Spider-Man fails when Cloak's darkness makes them all run out of a window and plummet to their deaths.
