King Conan, Gobo, Janta, Inuit chief Inupak.
The king of Aquilonia, his retainer Gobo and the two surviving Inkas that accompany them have left the forest of western America for the frigid waters of Alaska, trying to find their way home. They are suddenly beached by a massive wave. Conan and his crew are brought to the Inuits’. An angry god in the sea has chased all the fish away. The god below turns out to be a gigantic whale. Conan decides that he’s going to kill the whale-god. A big crossbow and a big bolt are built and installed on the beached raft, something that troubles the Natives. The god hunters set to sea. The whale is finally killed. Conan and Gobo share in the feast, enjoying the Natives’ songs celebrating life.
