Superman, deducing that the Yagrum is only an illusion, walks through it. Zor-El enables Superman to learn the stories of some more of his ancestors through a device connected to their headbands, which have absorbed some of their memories. In this fashion, he learns of Hatu-El, who helped liberate the Kryptonians from the Vrangs who had conquered them.
