The drug lord Marko is extradited to America for trial, where he is placed under the care of Diana's uncle Dave. Soon, Dave starts receiving death threats from Marko's gang members, a distraction that could not have come at a worse time as Diana is on her way to visit Dave and Lily with the twins. Meanwhile, having solved the gruesome mystery at his mesa hideout (Massacre at Walker's Table), the Phantom is travelling in the other direction, but must swiftly alter his plans when a newspaper article informs him of his family's plight.
