Three convicted killers escape from a Bangalla prison and head for the Bamboo Groves area, in which the Walkers' tree house is situated. An anxious Diana hears the reports and rushes back to the tree house to protect her children and Rex, but is intercepted by the convicts. Meanwhile, the Phantom is on his way home after a two-week mission, completely unaware of the terror that is holding the tree house occupants in a steady grip.
