Hulk appears in the center of the Crossroads, where a tree with a hundred pointing hands stands. Jade Jaws uproots it with a punch and then he goes after the Puffball Collective, a multitude of telepathic beings that look like cotton and group in round forms. From the Crossroads there are thousands of paths and all end up in a gate.
