The lookout's cry alerts the crew of the Tigress to a blue-skinned woman standing upon a lily pad in the middle of the ocean. She is brought on board, which causes N'Yaga to feel sick. N'Yaga grows more ill and Belit becomes suspicious of the girl. She orders her crew to stay away from her. Conan dives into the ocean to save Asambi, but is pulled into the woman's grasp, whose song and kiss entrance Conan. Belit calls to Conan from the boat, which snaps Coman out of the trance and he manages to struggle free.
